When you think of Pepper Spray or Mace, many pictures and thoughts probably come to mind.
As you've seen from the previous entry - the effects of it can be nasty and I always think of the song by Thomas Dolby "She Blinded Me With Science"!! (I know that was a bad one - be prepared for more ahead - hee,hee).
The purpose of Pepper Spray and Mace are to stop the attacker so that you can run for safety ("and I raaann, I ran so far away" - Flock of Seagulls).
However, the Pepper Spray or Mace container must be easily accessible! I'm sure your attacker won't wait while you dig around in your purse or pocket to look for it (I know, you're like Carly Simon who hasn't "got time for the pain").
